That's all I've gotta say. Survivor title.

I feel compelled to talk about my favorite hot dogs. I really love one-off local restaurants... and there is one in a nearby town that I drove by for years before finally trying. Oh how I wish I had tried it sooner. Elvis's Hot Dogs is located across from what used to be Whalom Park and they serve the most delicious hot dogs I've ever had. The franks are simple - two casing options for if you want to grill it or steam it.... but then you can have it prepared with pretty much anything you want. My favorites are the Arnold Ziffle Deluxe (bacon, cheese sauce, and chili on the dog) and the Hula dog (bacon and pineapple) - both grilled. There must be 20 other varieties...from the M.R.O. (mustard, relish, onion) to the well-known Coney Island to the Texan Dog (bbq sauce and beans). They've got it all covered at Elvis's and it's all good.
I am so glad I'm able to go to Elvis's Hot Dogs! I hope they are around as long as I am...

While this had no relation to lent, I went 40 days without any alcohol (beer or otherwise) before I caved. I could've held on longer...but I think as long as I get my needed exercise and am more selective in my eating otherwise I will be fine.
Mmm, beer... I also enjoyed some nice English Mead last night.

Starting tonight after the double nines, I won't be drinking any alcohol beer for a couple months (or more). This is an exercise in discipline, as well as an attempt to start losing some weight. Hopefully it goes well :) I've decided that maybe a shot or two of Jameson a week won't hurt... at 69 calories 0 carbs per 1oz. Alcohol is a steady part of a healthy, long, life, after all! We'll see if I can go without entirely or if I substitute in the name of good health...

Two things tonight. One - Ice Cream after a snowstorm is great...and it was hilarious seeing a big line at an ice cream stand that opened up this weekend after our big snow storm. Jared and I enjoyed some icecream out in my driveway.
Afterwards, I learned this week's lesson. Do not try belly sliding down an icey hill in your yard. It can only lead to bad things. There was about a foot of snow with a quarter to half inch layer of ice on the top... well, halfway through sliding down the hill, I broke the ice layer, which proceeded to jab me in my stomach and cut me up pretty good. Only click this link if you are prepared to see blood & beer gut. It hurt pretty bad and I am sure I will be sore and uncomfortable while sitting for the first half of the week...

It's been 2-3 months since wearing a mohawk, but I did this week... and I declare it to have leveled up.
As Matt puts it:
[23:55] Matt: mohawks deal 1d10 + Level/2 damage
[23:56] Matt: So a single mohawk attack now instantly kills a low level wizard
[23:56] Matt: nicely done

This post is scheduled to appear at 1:59:26AM today... on Pi Day! Make sure to celebrate! I am, if one manages to not notice....celebrating and using sharpie to draw the Pi symbol and its digits on my hands.
I need to go to bed. I can't wait to wake up to Pi day!
Update: The server did something weird, so my post may not appear at the correct time...but it's in the process of moving and is in another time zone. Ah well, it's the thought that counts

My awesome girlfriend and her family LOVE Pace Enchilada Sauce, because it's the only one in a jar (instead of a can). Now, I'm not sure if they make it both ways or not when we're talking real bulk, but I am searching for it. If anyone out there on the great internet knows where I can find some...preferably without buying 3 cases of it at once, I would be greatly indebted to them! All I can offer is my thanks and of course payment for said enchilada sauce.

I just read that Luca Turilli's Dreamquest will have a second album out soon! I can't wait, since I have been listening to Lost Horizons a lot lately.

This little guy right here can tear things up :) He is doom incarnate and also doom for me, as it's a WoW character of course...
